New Hampshire Wood Pellets, LLC (the Company) was formed for the purpose of producing high-quality premium wood pellets, selling to the residential market and to large-scale commercial operations. The Company has located a site in Farmington, New Hampshire where the pellet facility will be located and is in the process of negotiating a letter of intent with the state of New Hampshire, the owners of the property.

The Company will use wood as fuel in the dry wood burner that will generate heat in the dryer, which in turn will be used to dry the wood utilized as the feedstock for the pellets; therefore a complete green cycle!

The Company recognizes that wood biomass, when properly pursued, not only meets our nation’s energy needs, but also reduces the carbon dioxide emissions associated with global warming. The Company plans to manufacture approximately 85,000 tons of wood pellets on an annual basis. The Company will have its own green source of fuel thereby creating a major advantage over the competition that must pay for this energy source by using fossil fuels.

The Company aims to become a leading manufacturer and supplier of certified premium wood pellets for private households, as well as the nascent commercial usage in the northeast. Wood pellets are used in residential space heating stoves specifically designed to accept pellets. The Company wants to supply the necessary fuel to allow industrial users to ultimately substitute fossil fuels and to allow retailers to develop and strengthen their customer base.

Pellet stoves offer considerable advantages over traditional stoves including:

  1. increased ease of operation,
  2. reduced ash disposal,
  3. improved combustion efficiency and
  4. reduced air emissions.

We will rely on the vast supply of available green wood surrounding the Site.

The Company will create 26 full time jobs during the initial full year of operations. There will be approximately 45 construction jobs created during the build-out. The contractors expect to have an additional 15 jobs created back at their shops. With respect to the amount of wood that will be delivered as fuel and feedstock (approximately 176,000 tons), it is expected that there will be a total of approximately 150 to 170 jobs created for truckers, loggers, attendants at gas stations, portable chipping operations, pallet operations, local lodging, restaurants, and stores, etc.
